Newborn

Babies are my absolute favorite to photograph. I love how unique each on is and seeing their personalities show at such a young age. I have 3 kids of my own & have been around babies my whole life which gives me an edge in this field. They grow up so fast which is why it's so important to get their photos done! I promise you won't regret newborn photos with me.

Maternity

I never did maternity pictures for any of my pregnancies, and I can say with 100% certainty that I regret it! This is a time in your life that is miraculous. Your body is doing an incredible thing and one day, you & your little one will want to look back on this experience regardless of its enjoyment. Pregnancy can be so difficult, but capture it. It's worth it.

Family

I love watching your families grow! It's so fun to see how you've changed since the last session, time flies! I pride myself in working with toddlers & young children especially. I'm an advocate for taking family photos & printing them! Your kids will feel a sense of belonging when they see themselves on the wall with their family.

FAQ

How do I book?

After reaching out, a 20% non refundable retainer is required upon booking and the remaining payment is due at least 2 days before your session. A session contract must also be signed within 48 hours to finalize booking.

How much is tax?

The 2024 tax rate for photography services is 7.45%. There is also a 2% fee applied to your invoice for processing payment. I do not profit from tax, it is a fee required for my business that I am licensed to collect.

How do I choose my photos?

I will send you partially edited, watermarked versions of your gallery ("soft gallery") within 1 week. You will then select your favorites for me to finalize! Partial edits/raws will never be given.

How many pictures can I receive?

Your contract will determine the minimum number of chosen photos you receive. Depending on the session length and cooperation you have the opportunity to receive anywhere from 10-70+ images depending on the session type and how many photos you choose. Contracted number of photos are the minimum guaranteed. A soft gallery will be sent where you can choose your favorite photos for final edits with the option to add more for cost.

Can I get more final edits?

Yes!! Your session comes with a minimum number of edits (determined in your contract) and you can buy additional edits for $6+tax/photo or purchase "All The Best Images" (entire gallery) for $120 + tax.

When will I get my photos back?

I do my best to keep galleries delivered within 2 weeks! Contract states up the soft gallery within 2-4 weeks and then within another 2 weeks after choosing from your soft gallery.

How should we dress for our session?

My advice is to keep it neutral! Avoid busy patterns (stripes, plaid, polka dots, etc), clashing colors, bold colors (royal blue, all black, neon) and stiff fabric. At the end of the day, wear what YOU feel good in!

When should I book a maternity session?

Ideally sometime between 26-34 weeks. But reach out to schedule at any point during your pregnancy!

What’s the best time to photograph a newborn?

Book your newborn sessions as soon as possible! It will ideally take place when the baby is 4-15 days old, and 6-10 lbs. If this time frame isn't possible, don't stress! We'll make it work.

Do I bring my own props for my newborn?

You are welcome to bring approved items that you would like but it's not necessary*. I have a variety of wraps, accessories, outfits, and set ups for you to choose from. *Any personal items must be approved beforehand.

Do you offer In-Home sessions?

I no longer offer in home sessions. Extreme circumstances may warrant an in home session with additional fee and depend on location.

My baby is already here, can I schedule?

There is a $25 charge if you reach out after birth. I do my best to accommodate last minute bookings so submit an inquiry as soon as possible & I'll see what I can do! Last minute sessions are due in full upon booking and messages must be answered within 5 hours otherwise I'll move on.
